Driver for Disabled Children Arrested for Selling Drugs

Jillian Baldner of Pembroke Massachusetts was arrested on March 3 for selling what the police believed to be oxycodone. Ms. Baldner was working as a driver for disbaled children at the the time of the arrest. When Ms. Baldner was arrested her infant son and three children with disabilities were in the car. Ms. Baldner was arrainged in the Plymouth District Court and charged with possession of controlled substances, possession with intent to distribute, and conspiracy to violate state drug laws.

Any time a person involves children in a crime, in my experience the person exposes themselves to much higher penalties than they normally would have. Here, not only is the person involving her own child but three other disabled children. I think that this case is one that wil resolve going to trial because an Plymouth County jury is not going to be sympathic to a woman in her position selling drugas. Hopefully she will be able to get the help she needs and this will actually be a good thing for her.

If you or someone you know has been charged with a drug crime it is important to get the advice of an experienced criminal defense attorney. Patrick Donovan is a former prosecutor that has helped clients with drug crimes in Boston and throughout Massachusetts defend serious criminal charges.
