Rape Case Against Boston Lawyer Dropped

Gary Zerola the Boston lawyer and former prosecutor has ben cleared of rape charges in Florida. He was accused of sexual battery against an 18 year old college student while visiting Miami for a Patriot's game. According to the Miami Dade prosecutor the victim "has numerous credibility issues and there is no physical forensic evidence to corroborate the victim's version of events." As a result of this charge Mr. Zerola had his bail revoked on his open Massachusetts case and was held in custody until his was acquitted.
Mr. Zerola, a one-time People magazine "Most Eligible Bachelor" was acquitted twice this year of sexual assault charges in Boston after two juries found him not guilty.
